New Linux User

YubNub as firefox adress bar

by George Bunyan on September 27th, 2006

Although this is not only for linux, it should appeal to budding terminal users. YubNub is billed as ‘a (social) command line for the web’, and essentialy it allows to use different services through different commands, for example the command gim tux will search google images for tux.

First of all type in about:config in the address bar, and on the config page find the preference keyword.URL. Change the string value to http://www.yubnub.org/parser/parse?command= . Now you should have a command line infused address bar!
