Twitux

by Clair on October 25th, 2007

Thanks to Chris Rohde, I learned about Twitux!

So what is Twitux? It is one of them Twitter clients but it’s a Gnome-based one. You could view your friends twits as well as the public timeline. It’s really simple in terms of features. It’s a way that you could access Twitter without going to the web user interface and you could have it on the system tray and just click it when you want to read your friends’ updates. The shortcut to posting a Twit is quite simple. Ctrl-T does the trick. How simple eh? :) I used to have Twitbin but Firefox has been crashing on me frequently so I just had to check out Twitux as an option for Twittering. Looks neat to me at the moment. Considering it’s at version .5, it’s not so bad. I can’t wait for the official release!

You could check my screenshot on my previous post. It has Twitux on it!
