The Free World: ODOS - Really Linux
Today’s ODOS site is Really Linux.
Before anyone freaks out, yes I have mentioned Really Linux before, but not in this series. There’s a reason why I talk about Really Linux so much. Actually, there are a number of reasons. For starters, the Senior Editor, Mark Rais, is a friend of mine. He’s been on the GNU/Linux User Show twice and he’s given me a few opportunities that I wouldn’t have otherwise had. But this isn’t a patronage offering. The other reasons surround Really Linux itself.
Really Linux has some of the greatest people I’ve met in the community so far. There are forums, articles, and FAQs on a variety of topics; the moderators are from all over the world and unflappable, and I’ve never seen a single ‘RTFM’ on the Really Linux site anywhere.
The forums aren’t as busy as I’d like, but the answers come fast and furious. If you post a question there, I’d be surprised if you didn’t have a workable solution within 24 hours, or at least be well on your way.
Check Really Linux out. And while you’re there, buy a t-shirt to help fund the project :)
