Slackware 12.1 released
They say that Slackware users masochists. But that’s probably because of the compiling that you still have to do in case that there are no packages, in case that there are no bundled drivers, etc. Slackware is the oldest Linux distro and those who are not new to it would say that it is one of the best distros. You could check it out if you want to learn what Linux is really like.

I know one thing. I started using Ubuntu almost 2 years ago and now I’m using Slackware 12.1. It’s much faster and stable. Of course not easiest distro, but there is this feeling for me, that I can use the oldest active GNU/Linux distro. It’s awesome!

Slackware 12.1 is faster and more stable.
