Scribes install

by George Bunyan on September 17th, 2006

Part of me forgot that scribes was a python app, so this will be very short.

First of all download the scribes tarball from there site. Then extract the tarball with a tar xvzf scribes-0.2.5.tar.gz.

Now all that you need to do is cd into the directory it was extracted to, and then run sudo python setup.py install. It is then installed.

If you are using x/k/n/ubuntu, then you will need the dependencies I listed in my last post, otherwise you will need your distributions packages for yelp and GNOME python extras.

Happy coding.
