So far, those who need their games are in the lead!

Karin Daziel’s blog entry reminded me that I could play WoW on Linux. Some co-workers seem to be enjoying playing WoW and have been asking others to join them. I am not really big on games like WoW but I could give it a try. Unless my sister convinces me first that Granado Espada is the way to go! (Seriously though - the artwork of Granado Espada is awesome. And I love the soundtrack.) The searches I got tell me that I can’t run Granado Espada on Linux though ;_; Le sigh. But who knows? I could try. Otherwise, I might join the camp of those who use Windows for gaming. Seriously, now, I think I can somehow relate with you guys. It’s just that most of the gaming I do is still on the DS Lite. (The World Ends with You and Animal Crossing won my heart!)

There are also those who voted that they don’t have the applications that they need for their line of work. Awww. It’s tough then. And it’s something that would be difficult to trade because of the efficiency you probably already have with your existing set of software. In any case, I do think that there are free and open source projects out there that are being developed to fit various niches. Or maybe nobody’s even blogging about those free and open source software for the niches you’re working in! Hrmm. I hope that some people out there are getting a hint. ;)

So, yeah, please feel free to post your comments! I’d love to read them and the voting will end at the end of the month. They will be added up together and see why you readers here go back to using Windows.

(For the meantime as well, I would start hunting down any stories of people running Granado Espada on Linux.)
