LyX: Makes writing easy
LyX is essentially a word processor, however it has less emphasis on formating and more emphasis on writing. But hold on, ‘I don’t want ugly documents’ I hear you cry!
LyX can remove the problems of formatting through the magical power of LaTeX. So what is LaTeX? In a nutshell by giving simple formating e.g. Title, Author, Subsection etc. it will produce beautiful documents that you would be proud to have published.
