It’s all about pink and purple on GNOME
I am already running my laptop on Gutsy Gibbon and I simply had to tweak how it looks! I am in my pink and purple phase right now and so I decided to look for pink and purple stuff to use on my Gnome desktop :D
Just click it to enlarge.
The background is a picture of Keroberos from Card Captor Sakura. I don’t remember where I got it but it has a nice color and it’s primarily plain. And Kero-chan happens to be one of my favorite anime characters because he’s so funny, especially when he sees sweets and takoyaki.
Anyhow, I am using the following:
- Keroberos desktop background image
- Pink n Cute theme from Freshmeat
- Be Right Back GDM Theme from Gnome Look
- Ultra Human Pink icon theme
Although I am also considering another icon set, to be honest… The Somatic icon theme is just too cute to pass up! But it might not be appropriate because I already have Kero-chan! :) I have yet to tweak my desktop further to add some applets. Maybe during the upcoming holidays.
What does your desktop look like? You using Gnome, KDE or Openbox? I would surely love to see your lovely screenshots. Please make sure that you use a thumbnail to link to the full-sized or large-sized screenshot so that the blog theme I am using won’t break. :)

Hehe mine is all about the black. KDE 3, but with several KDE4 apps in regular use. KDE4 looks gorgeous, but plasma isn’t stable enough just yet for daily use.
Hope this picasa thing works, just delete it if it fails, ok?:)
