Integrate your VirtualBox Windows XP desktop with Ubuntu

by Clair on February 15th, 2008

I just read this cool guide on how to integrate VirtualBox’s Windows XP desktop with Ubuntu. Of course, you need VirtualBox first and they also gave a link to the article with the guide if you want to try it out.

You need to be familiar with adding a user to a group, changing permissions and fiddling around with RegEdit. Sounds easy enough? Go ahead and try it out.

Note: Not all new Linux users would find the guide very easy to follow so it might be best to have a more experienced Linux user around. I don’t use VirtualBox myself so maybe I’d try it one time when work is a bit lighter and I have time for this. For now, you could interact with the other people who checked it out.
