How popular is Linux?

The Open Source Advocate has compiled some very interesting data about the usage of Linux worldwide over the past several years. While the data is far from scientific, it is still a very interesting read. I would bet Ubuntu grabs the top spot in 2007 for the third year in a row. Sometimes I believe that the variety of distributions do make possible Linux users confuse.
