New Linux User

Get Your Free Software Stickers!

by Clair on August 20th, 2007

There’s nothing like showing the world that you are a Linux user and definitely proud of it!

Laptops typically have stickers that say they are designed for Windows XP(/Vista/etc.) as well as Intel Inside for processors. You could actually get similar stickers! Just go to the Free Software Sticker Book so you could actually download them stickers. Who says you have to keep that Windows sticker on your laptop when you could get funkier and expressive about your views with these wonderful stickers. ;)
Freedom

There are instructions and suggestions on the stickerbooks, aside from the ones on the site itself. This could be a fun activity for you and your friends, printing and cutting up stickers to post on your stuff. The collection has more than Linux and Free Software philosophy stickers: it also has stickers which are distro specific and application specific. I personally love the “I Use Emacs” sticker!

Software Freedom Day is coming up next month so you might as well have some teasers by posting Free Software stickers on your laptop, on your servers, and even your other stuff.
