With goodbye-microsoft.com, trying out Debian is very easy. After you download the image, all you need to do is restart and you will be using a “live” version of Debain. You will not be able to install it to your hard disk, but you will be able to give Debian a test drive. If you are considering switching, this is another tool that will simplify the process even more.

Nice to post this, but the information is completely wrong. This IS a way to install Debian to disk and you will NOT be able to run Debian live (without installing it).
