Fingerprint Authentication in Ubuntu!
My Lenovo C3000 N100 has a fingerprint scanner and it works perfectly fine in Windows (it was shipped with Windows XP Home). I haven’t been able to use this feature in Linux. There was a time that I tried to read more about it but I ended up not trying to make it work due to time constraints.
On Ubuntu Brainstorm, the idea of integrating the fingerprint scanner has been marked as being worked upon. Yay! Looks like Ubuntu users like me will have something to look forward to when it comes to being able to use the fingerprint scanner too. :D
