EXPLAIN: Basic GNU/Linux Commands

by Jon on January 3rd, 2006

Mark Rais, senior editor of Really Linux, has compiled a list of the more common basic commands that we all should know in order to move about our new GNU/Linux boxen.

Mark covers off familiar Windows-like commands such as cd and print, as well as the more *nix specific commands like ls and passwd.

As well as the Basic Linux commands, there are links on this page to primers on files and permissions, directory navigation, beginning server administration, and more basic commands.

Check it out, here.
