Check out Adventures in Open Source

by Clair on December 6th, 2007

One of the emails I got this week was a recommended link to a blog called Adventures in Open Source. The email went like this:

Could I direct you to an energetic and detailed review of 10 linux distros?
http://adventuresinopensource.blogspot.com/
It’s been put together by Dan Lynch of the Linux Outlaws podcast fame and I recommend it to any Linux newbie or someone who wants to make themselves scarce and try a distro over the Chrismas break when the relatives come round!

Lo and behold I saw reviews of several Linux distros and they even have full article versions of the review. It’s really a good resource for newbies — and not so new Linux users who would like to see what’s out there and what could be great to try.

Thanks, John W. Smith for the recommendation!
