Beryl Wall Released

by Kyle on February 9th, 2007

Beryl has once again outdone itself. This update of Beryl allows you to view all desktops from one view, and it has drag and drop capability. I know this might sound a little difficult to comprehend, but the effects are incredible. I pose this question to Microsoft and Apple: Who is leading the desktop graphics revolution? The clear answer is Linux as demonstrated time and time again. Enjoy the videos of Beryl Linked on Youtube.

The ‘Wall’ plugin for Beryl hasn’t been released (its still in SVN), and the feature is identical to the spaces feature in the upcoming OS X Leopard release, which has been previewed on Apple’s website for months, and is no doubt where the idea for this plugin came from.

Don’t get me wrong, I use Beryl every day; you just might want to get your facts right in the future. ;-)
