300+ Easily Installed Free Fonts for Ubuntu
The Ubuntu Blog walks you through the installation process for over 300 free fonts available in the Ubuntu repositories. The Ubuntu Blog does an excellent job bringing to light many fonts that are completely unknown to myself and most of the community as a whole. This is an extremely easy and quick way to drastically improve your font collection. If you are looking to install all the fonts in one swoop, copy and paste the following command into a terminal:
sudo apt-get install ttf-gentium ttf-dustin ttf-georgewilliams ttf-sjfonts sun-java6-fonts ttf-larabie-deco ttf-larabie-straight ttf-larabie-uncommon
